About Atema

Managed IT support with real people behind it.

Atema was founded in 2017 by Jack Wetson-Catt and Andy Pointer, who brought decades of IT experience from large organisations across telecoms, finance and legal to build something more straightforward. We're based in Gloucestershire and support businesses across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Swindon and Bristol, plus clients whose teams sit further afield, backed by trusted local hands wherever they're based.

Run by someone who still answers the phone

Jack now leads Atema day to day, carrying forward the same approach he and Andy set out with: cut the jargon, do the work properly, and treat IT as something that should help a business grow, not just keep the lights on. It's a smaller, more direct way of working than most IT support gets, and that's on purpose.

Behind the scenes, Tanya runs much of what keeps Atema itself running, marketing, finance, admin and everything else in between, so the team on the front line can stay focused on your IT.

How we work

Proactive, personal and professional.

Proactive

We monitor and maintain your systems continuously, so problems get caught and fixed before they interrupt your day, not after.

Personal

We take the time to understand your business and where it's growing, so the advice we give actually fits, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Professional

You're a client, not a ticket number. We're accountable for the outcome of your IT, not just how fast we answered the phone.

Our focus

Three priorities, in that order.

01

Security

Security sits at the top of the list, not somewhere further down. Every recommendation we make starts from what keeps your business protected, and that isn't going to change no matter what else is competing for attention.

02

Solutions

Once security is sorted, we focus on making sure the technology behind your business actually works the way it should, so your team spends its time running the business instead of fighting the tools meant to help it.

03

Support

When the first two are done properly, ongoing support becomes the safety net you rarely need to call on, rather than the thing holding everything together day to day.
