About Us

Andy Pointer

With 20 years experience in the IT industry now under my belt, I was flattered to be referred to as an IT Veteran recently; going on to explain that my experience had given me a breadth of knowledge and expertise that their company hadn’t previously enjoyed. I cut my technology teeth back in the late ’90s.

Working with Zeus Technology, I was flown out to San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley, to liaise, advise and assist on specific projects as well as to manage relationships with a growing portfolio of technology partners. My initial two-week mission resulted in a five-year stretch where I soaked up everything the Americas had to offer.

IT can be complex, but it shouldn’t be for the people actually enjoying the benefits.

With our beards, long hair, and monitor tans, Jack and I pledge to leave the smoke and mirrors that have become so commonplace at home. We will always ensure that our approach that is open, jargon-free and ultimately one you can trust.

I was, without a doubt, a techno-curious child. Taking things apart to understand how and why they worked, then moving onto how could I make this even better? Combat robots, guitar gear, anything that ‘plugged in’. It was obvious that my passion was and still is all things IT.

My formal IT journey started in 2009 as a software developer and since then I’ve enjoyed many roles within the industry, from 1st Line Technical Support to IT Consultancy with international organisations.

At the end of the day, people want their technology to be reliable, cost-efficient and most of all empowering not distracting.

That being said, how businesses could and should use IT to their advantage is hardly ever the same and with good reason.

Effective IT doesn’t come from a one size fits all, out of the box solution. IT comes from working with an IT partner with extensive knowledge of the industry, technology and what that focuses on the all-important question, what are you trying to achieve?
